The same is true for sculptors. If you start out with a realistic and symmetrical skull for a foundation then you can expect to make a baby sculpt that has the proper head shape.
The Secrist Sculpting Foundation is designed to use full-round REAL EYES Brand Doll eyes ® (eyes not included). Once you place the eyes in the sockets you will be able to adjust them to look just about any direction that you please. Make them look left, right, up, down, or even cross-eyed.
You can make your baby sleeping or awake. By sculpting eyelids over the eyes you will always have that proper roundness of a sleeping baby's closed eyes.
The sculpted face above is the actual sculpt Vickie Reid made during the production of this DVD. It took her less than 90 minutes to make this on camera. Nothing is left out so you get to see every step of the process from tolling out the clay to applying the clay sheets. Watch Vickie as she creates the eyes, nose, and mouth.
