SIERRA LEONE Fish Selling
This is 33-year-old Fatmata from Mile 91 branch. She is a married businesswoman with four children between the ages of 5 and 13 years; three of her children are currently attending school.
Fatmata runs a retail business and sells fish to her customers around the community. She started this business to take care of her family, and has been in this business for the past ten years. Fatmata says that her challenge is the increase in prices.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more cartons of fish to increase her business. Fatmata says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family.
In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and KIVA for their support.
