An Introductory Set 5~Xodus Heat Set Mediums

We are excited to share our first introductory set of our new Xodus Mediums. We are close to having the colors done but we felt many were needing to find a good medium to be able to use up your existing Genesis paints you may still have on hand. We have been working very hard on getting this to have the look and feel as close to Genesis as possible. We are excited to say there are properties in these mediums that exceeded our expectations and hope you will find the same. Xodus Thinning Medium for Heat Set Paints~FREE Thinning Oil

One of the nice advantages to the Xodus Thinning Medium is that it makes the New Formula Genesis paints less tacky, more blendable and gives a nice smooth glide when spreading.  When mixing in the Genesis paints add in no more than than 50% recommendation and heat set at the normal 265 F for 8 to 10 minutes.  With this mixture you can thin down your paints further with your odorless solvent for washes. **NOTE** 265 Fahrenheit  is equal to 130 Celsius

The Xodus thinning medium is very comparable in looks and consistency of the original Genesis thinning medium.  Basically the same instructions as per the old Genesis for example not recommended to use by itself, should be mixed into other heat set mediums or paints at less than a 50% ratio.  Bake at the same temp and time recommended for the heat set paints/mediums you are mixing the thinning medium into (265F/270F) **NOTE** 265 Fahrenheit  is equal to 130 Celsius

Xodus Thick Medium for Heat Set Paints

Great for 3D hair strands or textured eyebrows.  It is very stiff but will soften when stirred. Has enhanced UV Protection. Heat at 265F/270F Cure for 8 to 10 Minutes **NOTE** 265 Fahrenheit  is equal to 130 Celsius

Xodus Matte Medium for Heat Set Paints

This medium is for matting down shiny surfaces.  It can be mixed into any of the other Xodus mediums to reduce shine or with any of the Genesis mediums (NOT with the New Formula Genesis Matte varnish due to its low temp cure) This needs to be applied thinly as it is a concentrate.  Has enhanced UV Protection. Heat at 265F/270F for 8 to 10 Minutes  **NOTE** 265 Fahrenheit  is equal to 130 Celsius

Xodus SatinTEX Medium for Heat Set Paints

You will find this medium to be a bit more solid in the jar but if you stir well, it will soften up (Thixotropic, same as old genesis medium)  SatinTEX can also be thinned with a solvent or thinning medium if a smooth satin surface is desired.  To obtain a textured surface, soften the medium by stirring then apply with a textured sponge or stippled with a stiff brush on your reborn doll.  Has enhanced UV Protection. Heat at 265F/270F **NOTE** 265 Fahrenheit  is equal to 130 Celsius
Cure for 8 to 10 Minutes....If applied thick then you may need to bake longer e.g 10 minutes.  This medium can be used as a nice last coat sealer or varnish.

Xodus Gloss Medium for Heat Set Paints

Great for gloss on lips and nails.  It is thick and clear enough to be used as a saliva build up inside an open mouth or drool on the outside of mouth.  Has enhanced UV Protection. Build up the saliva by applying a few layers, and heat set in between @ 265F/270F for 8 to 10 minutes. **NOTE** 265 Fahrenheit  is equal to 130 Celsius
